Lin Scollard, administrative secretary in Forest Park Department of Health and Safety (Building Department) is retiring after serving the residents and businesses of Forest Park for over 25 years. Her reputation for having a keen eye for detail and proof-reading skills extend to the Forest Park Review. She has seen many changes over the years, but her love and appreciation for history has not wavered.
After moving to Forest Park in 1978, she would stroll around town with an old-fashioned buggy and pick up many stories and historical lessons from the people she would meet. Now she has her own archive of stories and a keen understanding of the relationship of Forest Park’s past to its present.
