Healy's and Francesca's Fiore permanently closed

Healy's Westside announced on Oct. 13 that it will not reopen.

Two long-standing Forest Park establishments have announced permanent closures. Both Healy's Westside, which celebrated its 25th year in Forest Park in March, and Francesca's Fiore, established in 2001, will no longer open their doors to customers.

On Oct. 13, Healy's, 7321 Madison St., posted the news on its Facebook page.

"It is official," reads the announcement. "As of today Healy's Westside is not returning … Over the years we have made great friends and had so many wonderful employees. They all seemed more like family … But all good things must come to an end. Thanks for the memories, until we meet again, Slainte…"

Francesca's Restaurants Group, owner of Francesca's Fiore, 7407 Madison St., confirmed on Oct. 14 that the Forest Park location is no longer open. The restaurant group was founded in 1992 by Scott Harris and is based in Chicago.
